Responsible for supervising, rating, and supporting all professional and para-professional staff. Responsible also for executing school improvement planning and formative/summative assessment, maintainance and operations, and contract management. Setting and maintaining a high quality of teaching and learning as well a positive climate for teaching learning are critically important.

Supervise ushers, attend to patrons, work closely with security, front office, and related staff during programs. Attend to crisis situations, patron complaints, concerns and needs, and support the overall program and/or performance needs of performers and their staffs.

Additional being responsible for all issues involving maintenance and operations. Developing and working w/parents, all bargaining units (contract management), students, community partners, politicians, and central administration.

Served at various levels at JHS, MS & HS Assistant Principal, Principal, Assistant to the Superintendent.

Supervise student teachers and provide support and assistance w/student education courses.

Provided educational management support while providing academic support and professional development. Provided leadership and support for facilities, maintenance, operations, financial, higher learning, and social programs. Also provided professional development and mentoring to administrators, teacher leaders, and professional and paraprofessional staff.

Led a cohort of10-15 teachers and taught all required courses for the Masters' Administrative Program, and assisted in recruitment and retention of students. Courses included: The Principalship, School Law, Contract Management, Curriculum and Development, Special Education, School Finance, and Instructional Leadership. Provided work placement, supervision, and support.

Taught Graduate Level courses for Supervision & Instruction and Administration Certification.

Senior Juvenile Detention Officer/Shift Commander. Led and supervised approximately 20 male and female juvenile correction officers and approximately 50 juveniles, who were temporarily incarcerated.Awarded "Juvenile Detention Officer of the year" in June 1978 for leadership and actions beyond the call of duty during the evacuation of approximately 30 residents and 15 employees during a serious fire.Appointed and frequently served as Acting Superintendent.
