As a sole business development manager I developed a network of business opportunities which lead to beating an aggressive sales goal by 49% in landscape maintenance sales and commercial landscape installations. I have been an advocate for professional business coaching which helped direct us to operate on an EOS business system. Our team has restructured over the last year, which has led to the creation and implementation of ideas and processes which have greatly improved how we will target new business. As the business grew, another business development manager was hired and I have transitioned to a role to manage current accounts, and grow opportunities within our current client holdings. While transitioning to my new role and spending only a quarter year in business development, I was still able to close more than 55% of a full year’s goal. I have excellent computer skills, business operations knowledge to which I have directly set up 3 CRM systems, and have created a database within an estimating CRM and PipeDrive that will allow us to track our times since last contact with potential cold leads. I have a bachelors in Agriculture Science, with a minor in chemistry. This education has given me exceptional problem-solving skills, and a creative mind. I spend many hours researching something fully before I implement. I don’t promise something immediately if I know I can’t deliver. I believe in over-delivering on a promise or deadline. If I don’t know how to do something and it fits within our business model, I will do everything in my power to make it happen while leaning on my team to provide support so it becomes up to us all to succeed on a new idea. In the short interim as account manager I have helped accelerate timeframes on renewals being sent to clients. I also made sure each and every client on our snow removal list was updated by email whenever we needed to make plan changes. We have since received more than 60% of clients reaching out to let us know how great communication was during our first snow event without being prodded for feedback.
