Working across multiple countries and cultures was one of the most intriguing components of the role.I regularly would travel to global R&D sites to ensure they had the proper systems/technology in place to facilitate the successful development and launch of multimillion-dollar product lines.During my time with Unilever, I collaboratively launched 100+ products that enhanced the nutritional offerings for the target customer base. Initially, I led a team of 5 professionals, and we were focused solely on the ready to drink nutritional shakes. However, during my time in this role, we doubled the team size and took on nutritional powders and nutritional bars as well. Because I strive to develop scalable systems, we were able to achieve significant success with these new products, as we had with the nutritional shakes. -

Not many people can say they’ve worked directly with astronauts…This experience really laid a strong foundation for the rest of my career. One thing I am really proud of is that we consistently maintained the highest level of safety standards one can imagine. During my ~10 years with NASA I worked on 50+ Space flight missions and alongside 150+ multinational astronauts.I provided technical direction and immediate support to the packaged, shelf-stable food system, and the fresh food system (prepared immediately before launch), as well as food safety and food meal preparation support during the crew quarantine period prior to Launch and immediately after Landing.While with NASA I also held food safety credentials and security clearance credentials required for direct astronaut crew support.
