Liaising with Groupage consolidators for exports around the world. Planning the Groupage loads for customers to maximise the freight loaded onto containers.Ensuring all hazardous materials loaded correctly and that containers are appropriately labelled up and then signed off.Manifests completed and then relevent paperwork attached:Standard shipping notesDangerous goods notes and Trem cardsCustom paperwork (C88's)The operation was a small team of 8 people, 4 warehouse colleges and 2 HGV drivers , myself and warehouse manager.The HGV drivers were planned by the manager who I would deputise for when on vacation.Stock control for storage customers , basic and old school paperwork.This was a very busy operation which I very much enjoyed , i only left the company after relocation.
