Hi there! My name is Michael Dang, and I am currently a student at UC Irvine pursuing a degree in Biological Sciences, B.S. My primary goal in life has been devoted to the betterment of others. Today, I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Advanced Rehabilitation Center of Tustin. During my tenure, I've worked with patients with a diverse array of conditions, ranging from hospice care, rehabilitation, and patients with mental-related illnesses. I also work as a College Tutor at La Quinta High School. I assist students craft their college essays and applications to maximize their chances of success come admission day. I've been a leader in the recruitment of individuals for medical programs all throughout my life. During my time as the HOSA Nursing Assistant Captain at my high school, I expanded the size of my event by nearly six times, educating our future healthcare workers the benefits of entering the healthcare field. Through my efforts, I hope to inspire a future generation of healthcare leaders, as well as to maintain the dignity that every patient deserves.
