I founded the company primarily to build speculative new housing. Due to the recession the business diversified to carry out contracting work for surveyors and receivers, building out sites in administration, as well as acting as a general contractor on eco-build projects.

May 2005 - 2006 - GKN Aerospace - Project ManagerResponsibilities: Working on a trans-national programme with sole responsibility for project planning and coordination on all aspects of the Airbus A380 Freighter programme. This included managing an engineering team, spares orders, series production, tooling for development of the freighter variant and compiling quotes for incorporation of modifications on the civil variant. The role involved working closely with the customer on a daily basis.October 2005 – July 2006 - GKN Aerospace - Project EngineerResponsibilities: Responsible for a project to define the change management process during flight testing for the A380 design/build programme. Once the process was defined, the available IT systems were evaluated and an integrated procedure for management of the process with appropriate key performance indicators, risk control procedures and commercial tracking was defined.April 2005 – October 2005 - GKN Driveline - Project Engineer - Le Mans, FranceResponsibilities: Undertook a project to introduce factory maintenance software to GKN Driveline's 4 French facilities. The project goals were to manage preventative maintenance scheduling, repairs to faulty equipment and managed spare parts and stock levels in maintenance stores throughout French operations. Conducted entirely in French.October 2004 – April 2005 - GKN Driveline - Project Engineer - BirminghamResponsibilities: Project to develop the general Assembly Factory Improvement Strategy into detailed plans, identify target assembly cells which offer good potential cost savings and implement lean manufacturing techniques on those cells.

Responsibilities: Project engineer working on a variety of projects including designing friction welding tooling for the Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engine, designing an FE model to study heat flux in a reactor pressure vessel and design of bolsters for a BNFL train for transporting nuclear waste.
