Emergency Services Supervisor
CurrentThis is an advanced professional position of a supervisory nature in emergency social services including for Mental Health, Children & Youth, Aging, Drug and Alcohol, Developmental Programs, etc. The position involves the planning, direction, training and evaluation of five full-time Emergency Services day staff. Provided training and served in a consultative and collaborative role with individuals in the community and other professionals responding to consumers in life-crisis situations, including for mental health counseling and hospital commitments, child abuse and neglect, older adult protective services and substance abuse treatment. In addition, this position was responsible for coordinating the Emergency Services after-hours system with schedule and supervising up to fifty workers to provide 24-hour coverage for provision of services that included phone and site counseling, information and referral, mental health hospitalizations and protective services for Children and Youth and for the elderly.
