Providing support in college success strategies to students, primarily first year, first generation students attending Rhode Island College from the Met High School. Support ranges from college navigation, to utilization of support services, to supplementary academic advising, to check-in's around classes and progress, to direct academic support or personal support.

Supporting the development of Career Pathways in our high school program to prepare students for a variety of successful careers. Emphasis was placed on green careers of the future, community benefiting organizations, and high placement certification fields.

Culturally Relevant Pedagogy and Environmental Education were two strong themes of our Advisory.Students pursued Real World Learning through a variety of group and individual internships and volunteering experiences, which I helped manage. Together, we built projects that had real-world impacts and relevancy, while helping prepare them for future careers.Following graduation my students went both directly into 4 year colleges, and into the workforce.
