I have always worked to make a positive impact with the children and families I have served during my social work career. I am a licensed social worker in Michigan (LMSW), as well as Florida (LCSW). I was born in Florida, lived all over the southeast and settled in Michigan for the past couple of decades. I would like to take my skills and expertise to the next level and move back to the southeast region. I want to live closer to my extended family. I recently achieved national certification in the Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavior Therapy model because I have seen the great positive benefits reaped by the many families I have served.My experience before my social work career was based in the restaurant and factory industries. Becoming the third social worker in my immediate family has been a major blessing in my life.
