As a Program Manager focused on supply chain digitization, I've had the opportunity to develop, evaluate, and refine these skills.I've been fortunate to manage a variety of individuals throughout my career, each with different skill sets, personalities, and career aspirations. I manage others how I would like to be managed. I set clear expectations early, and remain available, understanding, and open to support my team. A successful manager not only organizes and coordinates their team to achieve results, but also develops the individuals within the team to pursue their own career aspirations and to feel highly valued along the way.I've led the implementation of Oracle's NetSuite ERP into a rapidly growing, start-up cultured beverage business that had previously transacted in Excel only. I've supported the integration of people, technology, processes and infrastructure following a $1B+ brand acquisition. I've led parallel projects focused on opening a 1.2M sq foot distribution center, while simultaneously defining requirements, developing and testing solutions, and implementing the first instance of Blue Yonder WMS within our company (all during the pandemic and while getting married!)Throughout these experiences, I have celebrated successes and learned many lessons from various setbacks. The most important lesson learned is that while you can never know everything while planning a technology implementation at this scale, it is imperative to always be engaged with business process owners to ensure that you are developing a mutual understanding of current processes and future opportunities. This will prepare you and your team to rapidly adapt when ambiguity strikes.Outside of work, I am a husband, and a dog dad. I enjoy playing and watching sports, as well as traveling to visit friends and family.
