I am a fracturing engineer with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, an Energy MBA from TCU, and 12 years of experience in the Permian Basin, Eagleford Shale, and Bakken Shale.I started training as a fracturing engineer in January 2009 with BJ Services. After training as an engineer I worked as a lab technician, in the computer van operator doing data acquisition, and in the lab van doing chemistry, quality control and logistics on location in the Odessa area. By 2010 I was working as an entry level engineer with them for in Artesia, which I did for 3 years. I went on to do that same job for two other companies, Keane Frac in Williston, ND and Weather Fracturing Technologies in the Permian Basin.In July 2015, I started my Energy MBA from TCU, learning the business and management side of the industry from industry experts in the staff of the Neely MBA program. This included team business simulations, case studies, and other workshops hosted by the college. Our second year also included a week long study abroad trip to London, England, Paris, France, and Brussels, Belgium to study the energy industry in Europe and globally. After completing my Energy MBA in August 2017, I started working for US Wells Services in the Eagleford Shale, in Bryan, TX for a year and Pleasanton, TX for 2 years, with occasional rotations in the Permian Basin, before getting laid off due to Covid-19. I have been working for ProFrac since September 2021, based out of Midland, TX.
