Currently leading the Operations team working on the eir contract for Construction and Maintenance of the Access Network. Also managing a number of National Customer Fibre Projects and FTTH Sub Duct Projects.

The role involved managing a workstack that included Copper Cabling and Jointing, Fibre Cabling and Sub Ducting, Overhead Cabling and Civil Works. I was responsible for ensuring that the work was completed on time, to the appropriate standard and in a safe manner using a combination of direct employed and subcontract labour.

In addition to Customer Relationship Management and seeking out new business opportunities this dual role involves the full life cycle of Structured Cabling projects from tender response through project planning and execution to final handover and review.

This role involved surveying a variety of sites to establish the existing telecoms and civil infrastructure and producing a proposal for the required upgrade work. This proposal would include detailed work instructions, a scope of works drawing and a bill of materials. The role also involved the scheduling of work with clients and coordinating the various.

This role involved managing teams of up to 8 Front Line Managers and up to 160 team members who were engaged in a variety of activities such as Network Planning, Service Delivery, Network Build and Maintenance.

Management of major Structured Cabling projects for multi national clients such as Hewlett Packard, Bear Stearns and Merrill Lynch.
