At Sanofi Pasteur I worked to ensure equipment used in vaccine manufacturing was validated to stringent pharmaceutical regulatory standards. This included auditing executed validation protocols, preparing validation plans, and tracking quality metrics. I also led the periodic reviews of computerised systems used within the R&D department. Other duties included managing the updates to site validation master plan and computerised system inventory. I revised the update procedure for these documents to make them more accurate and efficient, moving to a 100% digital process.

In my role at Farmers Edge I made regular field trips to collect data on crop scouting and staging. Reports I prepared using this data were then used to inform crop growth models, which took into account factors such as soil characteristics and weather. I was also responsible for installing and removing sensors and other equipment within fields of interest. This role had me develop relationships with local growers to ensure accurate and complete information.

At Agriculture Canada I conducted research with various pesticides (primarily neonicotinoids) to determine their effects on various bee species. Results from this research were later published in the attached article in Scientifc Reports. My summer positions at Agriculture Canada also had me preparing new cell lines from bee tissue, maintaining existing cell lines, and performing bee microdissections. In this role I learned proper Containment Level 2 laboratory procedures.
