As the IT Special Projects Manager II, I am Responsible for Providing Technical Assistance and Support Related to Servers, Computer Systems, Office & Plant Hardware & Software. Colossians 3:23-24 - "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ."Primary Responsibility• Daily Administering Power 9 Series Server• Managing IT Systems and Infrastructure• Designing And Implementing Solutions for The As400 Application.• Debug Programs, Coding, and Testing.• Write RPGLE Or CLLE Programs as Needed.• Write Query400 / SQL Queries Upon Request. • Problem-Solving Utilizing Limited Resources.• Project Planning and Management.• Maintain Hardware and Software Assets.• Maintain Vendor Relationships Related to All User-Based Technology and Services • Developing IT Policies and ProceduresSecondary Responsibilities: • Provide Technical Support Request Related to Computer Systems, Hardware, & Software.• Provide Training to Users for ERP, Office, Email, Voicemail, and VPN Software.• Assist with Onboarding of New Users.• Ensure Workstations have required Hardware, Software, & Any Additional Specialized Equipment.• Maintain Inventory of All Equipment, Software, and Software Licenses.• Maintain Software Licenses Compliance• Assign Users and Computers to Proper Groups.• Maintain Daily Performance of All Servers and Computer Systems.• Acts as Liaison Between Vendor Tech Support and End-User. • Walk the End-User Through the Problem-Solving Process When Beneficial.• Install, Modify & Repair Computer Hardware and Software.• Perform Timely Workstation Hardware & Software Upgrades as Required.• Run Diagnostic Programs to Resolve Problems.• Resolve Technical Problems with the Network.• Maintain Network Switches, Firewalls, Access Points, and Modems.• Install Computer Peripherals for Users.
