Michael D’Eredita, PhD, is an entrepreneur, strategist, community builder, systems thinker, inventor, product developer, international/Olympic rowing coach, and fledgling angel investor. Mike has coached hundreds of entrepreneurs, company leaders and high performers over the past 25 years. Mike’s mind space is dedicated to everything from white-board strategy, to identifying and coaching-up talent, to hands-dirty product iteration to bulldog selling. Mike is addicted to the process and mindset. He is passionate about helping people create value and define new personal limits. Mike co-founded Coffeehouse CxO, which helps mid-size engineering, technology and manufacturing companies launch new process innovations, product/service offerings, enter new markets, or spin-out new startup companies.Mike has also co-founded technology, hard product and service businesses. Mozzo Analytics built applications that applied behavioral analytics and machine learning techniques to unstructured data. He co-founded Vedä Sport where he invented, patented, built and launched a rowing machine/simulator. This company was spun out of D’Eredita D’sign & D’velopment which developed an array of applications and intellectual property. Mike co-founded The Leading Element which has offered executive and strategic coaching for over 2 decades.Mike instigated, co-founded and oversaw the campus-wide Information Technology, Design and Startups program at Syracuse University and is helping to greatly accelerate a second one at Le Moyne College as its Director. These entrepreneurial communities, pathways and programs have resulted in > $500 million of dollars of value creation (so far) with a company evaluation surpassing a billion dollars. Mike has also directed and helped to rebuild foreign National and Olympic rowing teams from Finland, Portugal and Guatemala that collectively earned over 30 international medals over a 20 year span. He is also a sole inventor on 2 patents (utility and method) and has over 20 academic publications on expertise, high performance, virtual work, collaboration and entrepreneurial communities.He has been a Professor of Practice, blurring the line with the “real world” for over 20 years by helping 100s of first time entrepreneurs through their first launch. He has coached many on subjects centered on high performing teams, systems and organizations. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a PhD in Cognitive and Experimental Psychology with a focus on high performance.
