In 2012 Michael Dermen was snatched out of Buenos Aires, Argentina and granted a O-1 Extraordinary Talent Visa by Jennifer Lopez during her "Dance Again" Music World Tour. During his 10 years living and working in Los Angeles, Michael has worked at established production companies such as Film 45, BBC America, A Smith and Co, ITV Studios, Think Factory Media, Hudsun Media and Renegade 83 and others. Some of the shows Michael has been a part of include Apple TVs "Omnivore" shot in 16 countries, Netflix's “Audible" (2021 Oscar Nominee) and "Death by Magic”, Amazon's "Chivas: El Rebaño Sagrado" (2022 Emmy Nominee), BBC's “Top Gear America”, Discovery's “Naked and Afraid”, and E!'s “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills”, to name a few. Michael has extensive experience with budgets ranging from u$s 1 - 20 million. During his time in Argentina, Michael Dermen was a line producer and production manager for some of the largest international shows wanting to shoot in South America. Examples are Jennifer Lopez's and Marc Anthony's "Q'Viva: The Chosen", where he was in charge of handling 18 countries in south America involving a traveling crew of aprox 60 people, or BBC's "101 Ways to Leave a Game Show", where the set involved the construction of an 8 story high tower in 2 months, costing aprox u$s 5million.Michael has dual citizenship (UK & Argentina), has traveled and worked all over the world, and is available to travel as needed.Michael's main assets include staying calm & focused in extreme pressure situations.
