Serving as a Telecommunications technician for the Employment Security Department as an Information Technology Specialist. Continually created tracking sheets and reports to inform the Telecommunications group on status of Back-log tickets. Set the standard for establishing work procedures and providing innovative approaches to complete assignments and coordinate projects such as conducting needs assessments; leading projects; creating installation plans; analyzing and correcting network malfunctions; serving as system administrator; monitoring or enhancing operating environments; or supporting, maintaining and enhancing existing applications. Analyzes and corrects network malfunctions within the ESD. Assisting users in ordering and installing data communication equipment. Replaces faulty hardware modules in network equipment. Identifies moderate operational problems that impact one /or departmental functions. Continually Interacts with vendors to include Qwest, Verizon, and Embark to resolve site incidents that occur to minimize down time. Works with vendors to identify and implement code changes; monitor service level agreements. Conducts trend analyses. Sets up monitoring tools, reviews systems logs and messages, and investigates performance problems on telephony equipment through ought the work source and ESD offices in the state. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to Wireless device subject matter expert. This includes working with the vendor's to set up contracts that are beneficial for the State of Washington and the people. Implementing account and billing changes, rewriting the standard operating system and configuring devices for IT needs of the Employment security department. This includes on the spot changes, updates , troubleshooting and maintenance on Blackberry's, a Variety of Air Cards, Net books, and Cell Phones running on either 3g or 4g networks

Develop, execute, and Train over 18000 college level ROTC warriors in support of the Warrior Forge Mission on Fort Lewis every summer. Currently a squad level supervisor for Delta Company 3/414th ROTC BN. Trained ROTC Cadets for five years on soldier common tasks. Observe and evaluate students' work to determine progress and make suggestions for improvement. Plan and conduct activities for a balanced program of instruction, demonstration, and work time that provides students with opportunities to observe, question, and investigate. Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate those objectives to students. Conduct classes, workshops, and demonstrations to teach principles, techniques, or methods in subjects such as basic English language skills, life skills, and workforce entry skills. Establish and enforce rules for behavior and procedures for maintaining order among the students for whom they are responsible. Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects. Solid understanding of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, cultures and their history and origins. Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors or customer representatives.
