I oversee the underwriting and distributions systems for all of Risk Theory's business units. My team's time is split between system implementations and analytics. With regards to system implementations, we have developed our own in-house solutions for underwriting, quoting, rating, and policy administration. Our in-house development process includes database architecture and SQL development for Risk Theory's specific business needs. We have also selected and purchased complete policy administration software solutions. My team and I lead the data migration, system configuration, and process design for these implementations.Paramount through all of our implementations is the drive to deliver a solution tailored for the specific insurance needs of our underwriting and brokerage business units. To better understand the needs of each business unit my team and I are also responsible for management and production reporting. This includes management dashboards, workflow reports, automated underwriting analysis at the per risk level, and bordereau reports.

Oversees process and change management for work flows surrounding insurance policy applications, rating, issuance, endorsements, and renewals. This also includes the implementation and development of business applications in SalesForce, VBA, and SQL Server 2014.Leads historical data analysis for pricing exercises, loss cost evaluation, financial proformas, and operational reporting. Develops demand curves for underwriting territories to advise rate and deductible selection. All data analysis is initiated in SQL Server 2014.Filled Solution Architect role in designing and administering proprietary policy management system in SalesForce. The effort included developing workflows, creating custom objects and settings, and leading data migration and quality assurance testing.Other major projects include development of management dashboards, creation of proprietary underwriting algorithms for risk screening, and regression forecasting for revenue.

Develops and streamlines reports as needed, including departmental performance reports, regression forecasting, and KPI analysis.Assists in managing the SSRS report server through query writing and developing automated reports in Visual Studio Shell 2010 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Also writes insert and update scripts to assist in internal data migration projects. Coordinates with business development team to support all sales initiatives through building sales pitch presentations, developing reports around Pinnacle's performance in particular skill and geographic markets, and researching/developing white papers regarding market and sales trends. Also leads business proposal writing through developing a library of responses and drafting new material.Performs profitability analysis and develops pricing models & scenarios for business proposals for new clients as well as opportunities to expand business with Pinnacle's existing client base.
