My name is Michael DiBenedetto; what drives me is family, innovation, science, discovery, and changing the world.I was raised in Cleveland, Ohio, by two 2nd generation builders who molded me into the person I am today. Our company is DiBenedetto Fine Homes. A company focused on quality and a customer-first mentality. These two qualities are ingrained in me, and I carried them to my design and construction companies, and now to dream book. My background and experience are as follows:Home Design – Exterior and Interior• 20 years’ experience in both interior and exterior design, including the selection of materials.• Designed and built new high-end homes from 3,500-12,000 sq. ft. valued at $700,000 to $2,000,000.• Designed and built home additions and remodels.• Experienced in the creation of sketches, CAD drawings, and 3-D renderings.Business Management• Managed the valuation process for purchased homes, remodels, foreclosures, and land.• Assisted in the land acquisition process, including surveys, purchase negotiations, and financing.• Cost estimating for budgeting and sales.• Evaluated and selected materials.• Led customer sales and tradeshow activities.Construction Management• Assembled and managed filings for building permits, including necessary appearances at city council meetings.• Management of bidding and procurement processes for materials.• Managed labor in the role of Foreman and General Contractor.• Management of Architects, Engineers, and TradesOther• Designed and built interior retail spaces.• Management of rental properties, including utilities and repairs.• Obtained certifications in water, fire, and smoke restorations.• Performed as a laborer with demolition and interior and exterior installation experience, including walls, tiles, wood floors, plumbing, paint, trim, fencing, and patios.During my time at DiBenedetto Fine Homes, one thing was constant, thoughts of better ideas and possibilities. I realized I had to take these ideas into the tech space and begin development. In 2016 I formed dream book—A technology company specializing in revolutionizing the building industry. We have four patents, two pending, and two issued. Our focus in the building industry is simple, solving for time. If we can focus on solving the pressures time presents, we will have made a difference. We have managed to develop technology taking the blueprint design process and the selection process from 6-10 months to 10 minutes.Our goals, solve for time and be the best 3D home design software in the world.
