Director Of Purchasing
Current-Report directly to the President/Owner.-Manage the purchasing team.-Develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.-Maintain relationships with designers, consultants, vendors, general contractors and owners.-Establish new relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work.-Assist in settling invoice or contract disputes. -Review project profitably, billing and aging with finance/management team. -Help estimating department with bids and targeting of new work.
