I have worked in the automotive industry for 18 years. 10 years at my current job.I started out cleaning cars when i was 16 years old at ny uncles used car dealership. When i turned 18 i wanted a bigger roll.I started running the service department .I was in charge of 4 technicians, 2 doll up guys and 2 runners.I trained myself on how to do my day to day duties. I was responsible for ordering all the parts, making appointments, calling on the extended warranty claims in and managing the department.I wanted to get into a dealership and try to advance in my industry.I applied and was hired at the first dealership I tried. It was for service advisor position.I worked as a service advisor for 4 years.I was promoted to service manager .I was in charge and over seen 4 technicians, 2 service advisors ,1 parts advisor and 1 shuttle driver. We have moved into our new facility as of 9/17.Now i over see 8 technicians, 3 parts advisors, 3 service advisors,1 shuttle driver and a service drive mechanic.
