I have been a Commercial Real Estate lawyer for 11 years during which time I have gained in depth knowledge and experience in a broad range of commercial real estate matters, acting for domestic and global clients. I practice in all areas of real estate law including development, commercial acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing and hotels and resorts.I have:- broad experience in acquisitions and disposals of commercial real estate, including office, retail, industrial, rural land and off the plan sales for vendors and purchasers, particularly institutional investors;- comprehensive commercial, office, retail and industrial leasing experience for properties Australia wide and across Asia Pacific, with a particular focus on luxury retail leasing;- thorough knowledge and experience of legal and commercial requirements of landlords and tenants in single-let, multi-let and shopping centre locations; - wide experience in preparation and negotiation of Agreements for Lease and related pre-commitment documentation acting for landlord and tenant; and- experience in preparation and negotiation of development documentation and off the plan sales.I work on transactions of all sizes, applying commercial acumen gained from my experience including extensive involvement in real estate aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals and financier due diligence.I also have a keen interest in pro bono legal work.
