I have taken care and maintained Maydown’s/Schivo N.I’s shop-floor over 20 years, with a total of 33 CNC machines I am proficient on Dmu 70v’s Dmu 50e’s with Heidenian controls, Dmg 60H’s with Siemens 840D controls, Dmc 103v’s with 810d controls 3 axis, 4axis and 5 axis milling machine in the form of Chiron mill 800 and Chiron mill 2000 plus Doosan VC630/5AX with Heidenhain controls, over the past 12 years I have become equally familiar with Doosan’s since their introduction to our plant during 2005, We have in total 9 Hp5100’s mark I & mark II which are controlled by Fanuc series 18i-MB through to the series 31i-model A and B part of my kit also included a MX2500Lst 9 axis Turn-Mill, plus 2 Puma’s, Puma S & Puma SY, a lynx also Fanuc 18i-TB control and a Puma TT1800SY Turn-Mill which is including the twin spindle C1 and C2 an overall 8 axis machine. I have experienced day to day recoveries and repairs from tool changers, pallet transfers, and diagnosing and replacing spindle motors and coolant motors to working on drive systems for 611 Semo-drive to Fanuc and in some cases hybrid Heidenian-Siemen’s drive systems, Doosan’s vision drives in order to recover turn-mill turrets to HP tool changer recoveries right through to the alignment and geometry of all our Machines. I am familiar with Electrical Drawings and comfortable enough to work my way through a micro-electronic circuits and fault finding when required as well as possessing a HND in Electrical and Electronics and being qualified as vehicle mechanic I also returned later in life and became completely qualified as an electrician and I’m more than comfortable with contactors, Micro- electronics, electrical interlocks and all that is electrical and mechanical within the a CNC Machine.
