The TutorABC is an online platform that matches students of similar levels, interests and features they wish to improve upon and schedules them with a tutor. This allows for focused goals to be achieved by the students and leads to an enormous variety of students; rarely teaching the same student more than once.The Tutor ABC Client utilises:• Inbuilt slideshow encompassing the core of the lesson content• An interactive White-Board with the ability to draw directly onto the slides, type out more information as well as other functionality• VOIP connection for students and the Tutor• Webcam stream of Tutor to assist with demonstration, emphasis and to provide a personal feel to the lessonsTutor ABC applies a feedback system where students rate the Tutor after each lesson on a variety of categories and offer any comments they wish to add. The Tutor is also responsible for submitting a review of the lesson materials and each student's participation, comprehension and production abilities after each lesson.

During my time with Specialized English Solutions I had two separate teaching positions; exam-prep Tutor and Conversational English teacher.A student came to my apartment for one-on-one sessions twice a week in preparation for his upcoming TOIEC examination. I was to provide the materials, identify areas for improvement and to administer accurate and constant responses to any queries or problems the student faced. The conversational English class involved travelling to a workplace before the work-day begins to meet the availability for the students. The students at this company had strong English comprehension, but required practice speaking with native speakers with a variety of accents (most teachers in Mexico are from America). I was tasked with creating engaging and appropriate content for the students interests and business requirements and developed a strong rapport with the students. As an Australian I had a unique perspective in that most of our English is British based, however most of our media is American. Therefore, I was confident in my ability to understand and explain the differences between British, American and Australian English.
