I also gained experience in the submission of Fire Safety Certificates and Disabled Access Certificate Reports, along with acting as Project Manager and Contract Administration on Conservation and Commercial fit-out’s. This in turn, gave me vast knowledge and experience in the commercial industry and successfully completing my Assessment of Professional Competence in becoming a Chartered Building Surveyor with the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).

DJI are a well established Fit-Out contractor who have their own in-house design team as well as a reputable team of Project Managers, Site Managers and Sub Contractors.My position with the firm was in a mixed role as a Building Surveyor / Project Manager. Such day to day duties involved:-Overlooking of projects from inception right through to the handover to the client.-Value Engineering scope of works to suit a client’s budget and ensure the best end product for the client.-Liaise with Site Managers and Sub Contractors to ensure the job runs smoothly and the handover is completed within the project time-frame.-Site survey’s for clients before detailing a scope of works.-Schedule of Conditions.-Measured Survey’s.-AutoCad.-Liaising with Design team on Clients design brief.-Defect Analysis.-Tendering.

WYSE are known to be Ireland's largest and most experienced Residential Property Management firms, acting as Managing Agents for over 150 Owners Management Companies (OMC's). I started off as a trainee in 2011 with the company and also overlooked the administration of Fire Safety within the companies portfolio.From 2012 to 2014, I was a Property Manager for 8 different Owners Management Companies all based within Dublin. Such day to day duties involved:- Preparation and charging out of annual service charge budgets to OMC's- Convening Board Meetings, AGM's and EGM's on behalf of the OMC's and acting as chairperson for same.- Overlooking OMC's accounts and finalising for approval at AGM's.- Appointing Contractors on annual maintenance contracts within Multi-Unit-Developments (MUD's) and ensuring all works are being carried out in a professional manner.- Liaising with the Board of Directors and Owners within an OMC, Ensuring that preventative and reactive maintenance is carried out in an orderly fashion.- Filing of documentation to the CRO- Ensuring that all works carried out in a Management Company is in conjunction with the Multi Unit Development Act 2011 and advising the Board on any changes in legislation.
