- Served as advisor for Eagle Entertainment, the student programming board, and Campus Programs Sound and Video Productions, the audio-visual team on campus, whose responsibilities included, but were not limited to: planning, implementing, and evaluating events such as concerts, comedy, lectures, traditional events, family-oriented programming, and diversity, as well as helping create promotions for all events - Created new documents for budgeting, sponsorships, assessment, and organization of activities Created various budgets throughout different areas of responsibilities: a $150,000 budget that financed programming, wages, supplies, and equipment, a $750,000 budget proposal used to fund wages, performer fees, travel, sound and lighting equipment, and miscellaneous event fees, and a $5,000 budget that was solely from sponsorships used for Family Weekend- Developed week-long training schedule to help orientate incoming programming board members to their positions and create new avenues in communication, teambuilding, and efficient event planning - Instructor of two college courses: quarter-long Programming and Leadership class, where students learned about how to program events and different leadership styles that one would utilize to plan activities on campus and in the workforce, and quarter-long First Year Experience course, designed to assist new freshman in adjusting to college life and learning about resources needed for student success - Chair of the Student Life Student Engagement Committee, a group charged with building awareness and student connections throughout campus - Member of various committees on campus, such as Parent and Family Association (assisting in the creation of a newsletter sent out to all students’ families), and Homecoming Planning Committee (duties included planning Homecoming parade, campus wide team challenges, and formal Homecoming Ball attended by faculty, staff, students, alumni, and community members)
