• Manage SBA Underwriting Staff for Bank’s Loan Division.• Responsible for underwriting 7a Express, 7a Small Loan, 7a traditional and 504 loans with SBA Guarantees.• Respond to screen outs from SBA to meet approval and closing conditions.• Manage SBA Origination and Renewal/Modification/Extensions of the SBA Loan Portfolio.• Provide credit memo drafting and support lending team in memo preparation and approval.• Determine eligibility and compliance with SBA SOP for both origination and servicing.• Conduct regularly scheduled SBA loan committee as voting member.• Develop SBA loan process within ABRIGO loan origination and portfolio management system.• Manage underwriting pipeline and workflow with sales teams to meet client expectations.• Financial spread analysis for both business and individuals in support of SBA underwriting.• Attend customer meetings and calls to assess credit worthiness and SBA eligibility.• Risk rate all SBA loans per bank policy and maintain risk ratings during annual reviews.• Provide support to loan workout for compliance with SBA SOP for loan servicing and workout requirements.• Develop internal policies and procedures to support SBA loan process and compliance with SBA SOP.• Solve complex loan structures and SBA credit requests to comply with bank loan policy and overall credit objectives.• Develop training for underwriting team to maintain knowledge of SBA SOP and industry regulations.• Provide performance management to underwriting staff.• Key contributor in development and implementation of ABRIGO loan origination, underwriting and closing workflows.

Responsible for all functions within Business Services, including membership, underwriting and loan administration. Currently working on the implementation of the nCino LOS system.
