Oversee budget/finance, research and business administration, and facilities for the School of Information at The University of Texas at Austin. Provide leadership of the finance/business team and establish budgetary and operational policies to advance the dean's initiatives and mission.

Oversee administrative, fiscal, and business operations as department manager. Serve as principal staff member on department leadership team to align staff resources and processes with research mission and instructional priorities.

Manage financial reporting and budgeting for the Department. Oversee research administration and establish workflows, procedures, and training to ensure compliance with regulations and policy.

Pre and post award administration for research intensive academic department. Coordinate grant proposal preparation, budgeting, forecasting, progress reporting, financial analysis and cost assessment to ensure compliance with sponsor regulations. Support active research efforts through purchasing, accounts payable, student and research staff HR, and accounting.
