Waitsia Gas Project (Stage 2) - Dongara, Wa

Waitsia Gas Project (Stage 2) - Dongara, Wa

Clough were awarded the EPC scope for Stage 2 of the Waitsia Gas Project, which includes a new 250 TJ/day gas processing plant with a 20-year life-cycle that will convey gas via the nearby Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline. Employed as a Piping Supervisor, key role accountabilities included:► Coordinating and supervising a crew of ~20 pipe fitters and T/A’s to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget installation and fabrication of site-run pipework to pumps, vessels, compressors, heat exchangers. valves and specialty items (at the Greenfield site and at remote well head sites), and appraising performance to ensure the team meets all our KPI’s► Confirming traceability of items prior to use or installation, as well as verifying isolations, conducting test pack walk-downs, identifying non-compliant items, recommending solutions, and signing off completed FIC's and ITR's► Working collaboratively with cranes, rigging, scaffolding and mechanical crews to maintain workflow and progress, and with engineers to solve piping discrepancies and RLMU’s (Redline Mark-Ups).

Dms Chute Replacement At Mt Pleasant Chpp - Muswellbrook, Nsw

Ducis Project is a team of specialists providing engineering, construction management, commissioning, and operations support to the coal, gold and mineral sands mining sector. Employed as SMP Supervisor, and seconded to Sedgman for the DMS Chute Replacement at Mach Energy’s Mt Pleasant CHPP operation, key role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Client representative for Semnan, coordinating and supervising ~30 boilermakers, mechanical fitters, riggers, crane operators, scaffolders and T/A’s (made up of crew and contractors) to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget removal of redundant chute work and structural and HDPE piping, and the installation of new steelwork, chutes, and process piping ► Providing technical and procedural guidance and troubleshooting for construction and deconstruction issues, and ensuring all work was completed safely, in-line with project schedule, and to required AS welding codes and standards► Surveillance of MMAW welding, flange management and in-service tightness testing activities, verifying WPS and welder qualifications (and guiding contractors in such requirements), and coordinating NDT and NDE works ► Issuing and approving PTW (Permit to Work), verifying and installing isolations, and ensuring effective de-isolations► Signing off completed FIC's and ITR's, and providing detailed project progress reports.

Bhp Olympic Dam (Sx Project) - Roxby Downs, Sa

Goodline provides construction and maintenance services to the mining industry, and they were contracted to replace the SXFPU (Solvent Extraction Fire Protection Unit) at the Olympic Dam mine, which involves replacing most of the existing deluge systems, and associated civil works. Employed as Mechanical Supervisor, key role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Coordinating and supervising a crew of 10 to 15 civil and mechanical trades including formworkers, concretors, plumbers, pipe fitters and boilermaker/welders to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget delivery of civil works for piping, as well as pre-spooling of SS pipe for spray rings, drilling and pre-works inside the SX compound (using only pneumatic tools) ► Procurement of project materials in line with IFC isometrics, as well as organising contractors for hydrovac, concreting and 3rd party testing requirements, and signing off completed ITP's and ITR's for civil works► Working closely with BHP representatives regarding construction meetings, schedule updates, and hold points for sign-off, and working closely with engineers to resolve TQ’s (Technical Queries)► Supervising MMAW and TIG welding for the fabrication of carbon steel spools.

Monadelphous were contracted to provide specialist maintenance and shutdown services at BHP’s Olympic Dam uranium oxide, copper, gold and silver mining and processing operation, as part of the Smelter Campaign Maintenance 2021 Project (SCM21). Their contracted scope of work covered hot metals, electric furness and boilers. Employed as a Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) Supervisor, and reporting to the General Superintendent, key role accountabilities included (but were not limited to):► Coordinated and supervised 10 to 20 mechanical and pipe fitters, scaffolders and crane operators to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget de-construction and construction of process piping, vessels, tanks, pumps, valves, steel structures, strainers, seals, spools, spades and blinds for the jacket water system, including HPU installations, and pump alignments► Supervised MMAW, FCAW, TIG and Stick welding, as well as flange management, hi-torqueing and tensioning, precision laser alignment, hydrostatic and pneumatic leak and tightness testing, and flushing of the jacket water system► Scheduled work in line with site and project requirements, conducted welding inspections, and coordinated NDT (Non Destructive Testing) activities and subcontractors ► Verified isolations, and ensured strict compliance with PTW (Permit to Work) and LOTO (Lock Out/Tag Out) processes► Material verifications and signing off completed FIC's, ITP's, ITR's, NCR's, MDR’s and PRT’s as production supervisor.

Downer provides construction, commissioning and maintenance services to the oil and gas, mining, utilities, transport, rail, technology and communications sectors. They were awarded a construction and commissioning services contract on the 490 MW Ichthys Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCPP). Employed as a Piping Supervisor, key role accountabilities included:► Coordinated and supervised ~25 boilermakers, special class welders, pipe fitters, mechanical fitters, scaffolders and riggers for the safe, on-time and on-budget installation of all piping systems for Steam Turbine Generator 3 (STG #3)► Planned and supervised the installation and fabrication of pipe spools in line with approved construction procedures, specifications and materials, and worked with client and contractor representatives to achieve positive outcomes► Worked closely with client representatives regarding site modifications and approvals as per Standards, revised drawings, and attended and facilitated daily and weekly contractor and subcontractor interface meetings► Ensured clear understanding of work scope, coordinated with mechanical, civil and structural disciplines to ensure an integrated approach, and reported progress or any issues to the General Superintendent► Signed off completed QA/QC documents such as FIC's, ITP's, ITR's, NCR's, MDR’s and PRT’s as production supervisor.

Inpex Ichthys Lng Project (Cryogenic Storage Tanks) - Darwin, Nt

Laing O’Rourke were awarded a construction contract for completion of 4 cryogenic storage tanks on the Ichthys LNG Project, however they left the project in April 2017, and Monadelphous came in to complete the remaining construction works. Employed as Welding and Quality Supervisor, and reporting to the Construction Manager, my key role accountabilities included:► Coordinated and supervised a crew of up to 30 boilermakers, welders and pipe fitters to ensure the safe, on-time and on-budget construction of the 4 cryogenic storage tanks, and worked closely with the QA/QC Inspector and Tank Foreman to ensure compliance with API 620 welding, B31.3 process piping, and AS1554 structural welding Standards and Codes► Supervised the welding of tank internals (including wall liners, internal decks and nozzles) with 9% nickel plate using semi-automatic sub-arc and FCAW and GTAW methods, and oversaw piping and structural steel welding on tank externals► Planned, scheduled and allocated daily construction tasks, managed site instructions and subcontracted labor, completed timesheets, and attended and contributed to production and QA/QC meetings► Completed welder qualification tests, coordinated NDT activities, and signed off completed QA/QC documents such as FIC's, ITP's, ITR's, NCR's, MDR’s and PRT’s as production supervisor► Ordered and issued consumables, confirmed materials traceability, and rectified and reported on any defective welds► Worked collaboratively with multi-discipline supervisors and subcontractors to ensure an integrated approach► Received and approved permits for confined space entries.

CBI were awarded a US$550M EPC contract by Esso Australia for the Longford Gas Conditioning Plant, which is designed to handle 400 million cubic feet/day of gas. Employed as Welding and QC Supervisor, my key role accountabilities included:► Coordinated and supervised a crew of boilermakers/welders and pipe fitters to deliver high-quality workmanship in line with welding procedure specifications and drawings, and witnessed pneumatic and hydrostatic testing processes► Developed and implemented welding procedures, conducted welder qualification tests and quality control inspections, completed dimensional checks and VT of welds, assigned NDE, and prepared daily weld reports► Developed and monitored the completion of ITP’s in accordance with approved project documentation, reviewed MDR’s, ► Weld-mapping and RLMU of ISO’s, and used TWI welding coordinator.
