• Follow strict recipes and procedures to produce wort on a 30BBL 3 vessel brewhouse (Premier Stainless Systems)• Operate grain mill and ensure grist specifications are met while keeping grain area organized• Ensure proper yeast pitching rates and fermentation monitoring to assist lab team• Operate and maintain lab equipment. Densitometer, DO meter, pH probe cleaning/calibrating• Have an understanding of entire brewing process and know how to trouble shoot when needed• Help with inventory of grain and brewing salts. Assist with deliveries and restocking materials• Still assist in all cellar operations when needed due to having prior cellar experience

• Run GEA centrifuge for beer transfers and clarification. Set up and operate filter housing• Dry hop using ROLEC DH90, harvest yeast for future brews, operate spicing/rolling tanks• CIP fermenters and brite tanks in an efficient manner, multitask constantly in the cellar• Carbonate brite beer for packaging team, partake in sensory analysis of green and brite beer• Acid wash/sanitize brites under pressure, ensure proper purge and DO reading before transfer• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cellar, perform necessary equipment maintenance• Handle chemicals daily in a safe manner, help with inventory and restocking of chemicals• Complete lab tasks like tank crashes, free rises, yeast/hop dumps, spund tanks as needed• Assist in barrel program, operate GW Kent Bulldog Barrel transfer tube for product movement• Trained newer members of cellar team before moving to wort production

• Run cellar for all day to day operations including but not limited to transfers, running the cellar during brew days, CIP of fermenters and brite tanks, barrel work• Test beer gravities with a hydrometer/refractometer. Test for off flavors during all stage• Setup, run, manage issues with, and break down kegging, canning, and bottling machines• Assist brewer on brew days on 30BBL 4 vessel system (Sprinkman) with milling in, graining out. On slower days would shadow brewer on the brewhouse• Design and brew recipes for our 1bbl system (Blichmann). Would be served in taproom• Ensure cellar is kept clean and organized with tasks including power washing and scrubbing tanks• Responsibly handle chemicals with safety equipment and insure correct chemical dilutions• Clean draft lines when needed throughout tasting room

• Responsible for working on hot and cold side of a 3BBL brewery• Read recipes, weigh/mill grain, and measure hops; complete other brew prep as needed• Safely handle chemicals around the brewery on a daily basis• Clean and assemble fermenters/brite tanks; run CIP and SIP cycles• Transfer beer and wort while ensuring sanitation, keep organized records• Take inventory and assist when needed in storage, keg beers• Assist in helping set up for events in the brewery taproom

• Part time, entry level position in a 3BBL craft brewery before returning to senior year of college• Responsible for assisting in entire brewing process, especially mashing in/out and transfers• Mill in for brew days while making sure recipe was being followed• Checked gravities of beer and pH of beer to help monitor fermentation​• Cleaned/Filled kegs and insured proper storage
