My Experience in Factory, Production and Lean Manufacturing Management as well as my passion to work with people from different cultures and my ability to build strong teams have skilled me to apply for this position. I am a deadline driven and target orientated individual. I have more than 15 years experience in the FMCG sector ranging from Quality, Planning, Training, Manufacturing and General Management. I am passionate about people and believe that success can only be achieved through good teamwork and collaboration across departments with a fixed focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost. I am a good motivator, communicator, mentor and team builder. I manage people well and believe in formal assessments with set individual targets, and deadlines which will also include plans for further individual development. Over and above my National Diploma in Food Technology I am also a Six Sigma Black Belt. I have experience and sound understanding of lean manufacturing principles. I believe in continuous improvement through the identifying and eliminating of bottle necks in the process. I am a strategic thinker who believes in statistics, facts and figures but also rely on some degree of common sense to manage and improve the manufacturing and quality processes. I perform well under pressure and understand the need for good business principles. Outside of the work environment I love working with kids of all ages and spend a fair amount of my free time over weekends coaching tennis to primary school learners free of charge.
