During my time at Ryanair I have worked in several different roles within the Technical Services department.Airframe Systems Engineer:This role has involved various projects, both short and long term, aimed at maintaining and improving the technical performance of Ryanair's ever-growing fleet of aircraft. The role mainly involved reviewing various defects relating to aircraft systems (fuel, pneumatics, hydraulics etc...) and providing technical insight and solutions.Duty Technical Services EngineerThis role involved the day-to-day management of Ryanair's fleet and live defects/issues from a technical standpoint. This involved attending various meetings daily and providing a technical input into live issues on fleet aircraft. This role was particularly intense, high-pressure and fast-paced.AD Review EngineerThis role involved the overview and management of all Airworthiness Directive related maintenance performed on Ryanair's fleet. The primary function is to ensure Ryanair aircraft demonstrated full compliance with all EASA and FAA ADs, that all the work performed was satisfactory from an airworthiness standpoint and that all the relevant technical records were maintained.

I worked at MSD in Swords, Dublin for a 6 month period as part of a work placement program. I worked with some fantastic and experienced engineers. This spell gave me a good insight into the world of industry.

I spent the summer of 2010 working in a summer camp in Trinity College for children between the ages of 6 and 13. The activities were mostly sport related.
