• Employed as a Finance Business Partner / Finance Manager within the Christchurch City Council. This was a Senior Leadership position assuming responsibility for the commercial and strategic finances of large organisational Groups within Council, and directly overseeing 4 CA qualified (or equivalent) Finance Advisors.• From September 2017 – December 2020 this role involved overseeing the finances of the Citizens and Community Group. This Group includes the City’s Parks, Libraries, Recreation facilities, Art Gallery and Museums, Community facilities and Governance, Customer services, Civil Defence and Vertical Capital Delivery (delivery of Council’s major ‘above-ground’ capital projects).• Due to strong performance in this role from January 2021 my position shifted to overseeing the finances of the City Services / Infrastructure Group. This includes the City’s Water and Transport activities, as well as Consents, Planning and Regulatory services. • In recognition of my strong performance in my role I was nominated for the ‘Emerging Financial Manager of the Year’ award at the 2020 New Zealand CFO Awards

• Employed as a Finance Manager within the Hotels & Resorts team at the London Luton office of TUI Group (world’s largest leisure, travel and tourism company and a member of the FTSE 100).• TUI Hotels & Resorts operates over 100 properties in a number of destinations in Europe, Africa and the Caribbean, primarily accommodating guests from TUI tour operators in the UK, France, Germany and Scandinavia.

• Employed on a contract basis as part of BDO Christchurch’s Audit and Assurance team (9 month contract role chosen due to impending departure for UK once partner’s university studies were completed).

• Employed as a tax specialist within Deloitte Christchurch’s Tax team. Promoted to Senior Consultant in December 2010.
