As the Facilities Manager, I manage the XCOR facilities located in Mojave, CA ensuring a safe working environment for personnel by ensuring a properly maintained facility. Oversee the facility management program including preventative maintenance and the supervision of maintenance and repair of facilities equipment. As the Shipping & Receiving/ Materials Manager, I am responsible for the shipping & receiving daily operations and material management activities to include supervising and coordinating the activities of the shipping & receiving technicians/material handlers, overseeing the budget, and identifying opportunities for improvement that can save time and money. I maintain and develop new policies as needed to support the proper flow of materials in our R&D environment. Oversee proper regulatory compliance procedures affiliated with materials handling. As the Safety Coordinator, I ensure XCOR Aerospace follows all safety regulations and requirements as outlined by the state of California. Conduct safety training, maintain employee safety records, inspect equipment as scheduled, conduct accident/safety investigations when an accident is reported, and conduct periodic safety and health walk-through inspections of all workplace facilities.

Provide consulting services to assist with identifying savings opportunities and assisting clients with change efficiency of the delivery of materials and supplies. My focus was cutting cost and helping the staff gain better time management. I worked with the various departments and management to meet each areas individualized needs with the goal of better faster delivery of materials that would result in better patient care. Responsible for hiring team members as needed to meet staffing requirements and produce weekly schedules for staff. I worked with the client to develop supply solutions while leveraging the capabilities of Cardinal Health’s distribution platform and taking costs out of the customer supply chain.

Maintain and establish accounts with vendors. Purchase all parts and products needed for daily plant operations and Yacht production. Create and maintain daily logs and spreadsheets. Managed life limited items/HAZMAT. Supervise stockroom staff

Maintain fuel farm and refuel aircraft as needed. Maintain daily and monthly spreadsheets of all aircraft fueled and serviced at FBO Customer service, servicing individuals who stored aircraft in hangers at Georgetown Air Services.Ensured FBO and all owned aircraft hangars were well maintained and in good condition. Responsible for repairs and upkeep of all buildings on premises.
