Six Standard Lego 2x4 bricks can be connected in 915,103,765 ways.Since my first Lego Space UFO Cyber Saucer set my parents got me when I was six years old, I was hooked. All the different Lego shapes and sizes combined to make a tangible toy. The possibilities were endless. I could build a Star Wars Tie fighter one day, a NASA rocket ship the next, or a hovercraft the day after that. But one thing always remained constant: I enjoyed the build. Throughout my childhood, I enjoyed the process of seeing something come together; a gestalt style practice of summing the parts to produce a greater whole. Once I realized I could make a career out of putting pieces together, I knew what I wanted to do. I used my pre-collegiate, collegiate, and post-graduate education (along with some other notable life experiences. Shout out to my family and friends on that one) as tools to begin a career in manufacturing. A career that I have built over the last 10+ years working with various clients in various industries. As a Manufacturing Engineer, I have successfully led products from their initial prototype design, through alpha and Beta prototype development, manufacturing process development and validation, pilot production and finally, into ongoing manufacturing and sustaining engineering. My team and I have successfully designed manufacturing processes, and validated and executed on those processes from initial launch to end-of-life. We have experience working with products in the bio-tech, bio-pharma, aviation, medical device, industrial automation and measurement industries. I love what I do because I am still doing what I was all those years ago; putting the bricks together. That all being said, I try not to define myself by the career I have chosen. While I enjoy my profession, I try to make the most of my down time with other activities I enjoy. I am an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys exercising, running, paddle boarding, skiing and hiking. Pretty much anything involving physical activity, I'm a willing participant. My other hobbies include traveling with my wife, Arielle, and trying any new foods we can, as well as spending time with my family, my friends, and my cat, Grimsby.
