•Sr. Information Assurance Analyst responsible for performing Security Assessment & Authorization (SA&A) activities for both DoD and Federal Civilian government agency information systems utilizing NIST, DoD, and CNSS guidance.•Responsible for authoring SA&A artifacts such Security Plans, Information System Contingency Plans, Security Assessment Reports & Plans of Action & Milestones POA&Ms) within both DoD (Defense Technical Information Center) and Civilian (Internal Revenue Service) environments.•Evaluated technical and non-technical audit and Security Assessment results, such as vulnerability and configuration audit scans, to develop POA&Ms to for vulnerability and risk mitigation.•Key member of highly successful team which completed one of the initial Assessment and Authorization packages utilizing the DoD’s newly adopted Risk Management Framework guidance as outlined in DoDI 8510.01. •Manages customer’s expectations through regular meetings with Government Program Managers in terms of product deliverables, scope of IA testing, and schedule milestones.
