These contributions were achieved by improving the overall quality of vendor pools, improved bidding and contracting strategies, program process improvement and strategic geographical resource allocations.Prior to joining Walgreens, I worked successfully as an architect for over 15 years leading project teams and project design with a focus on educational and retail facilities. I hold a Master’s Degree in Architecture from Columbia University in New York. During the economic downturn, the field of architecture was heavily impacted and as business began slowing down, I started exploring jobs outside of architecture where I could leverage my architectural background and my skills in team leadership.My architectural experience, combined with my work at Walgreens has evolved into a greater passion for large scale, multi-site facilities management, program management, strategy development and process improvement.
