About Michael Driedger
While filling a garbage bin full of drywall in 1994 (drywall I had built into the building 9 months before), I had an epiphany. How could we have survived 70,000 or so years as a species behaving like we do now? Since then, I've devoted myself to improving the way we do things. First with a degree in archaeology to discover ancient wisdoms and then a 20 year career in sustainable building consulting to try and make improvements. It's also led to my co-founding two successful proptech start ups that improve air quality (Airsset), and to improve the sustainability and overall operations in the lodging industry (Operto). A better (more sustainable, efficient, and thoughtful), world is what I want for my kids. It's what we should all want, even for ourselves today.
