Responsible to the Global Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Director, for the technical leadership for launches within TRW. It is to ensure all risks are managed and that project deliverables and objectives are achieved. The lead manufacturing engineering activities across various product lines and ensuring global standardisation of both products and processes.Duties and Responsibilities• Oversee new product process and engineering applications from concept to job one in design, specification, modification, management and cost and procurement.Responsible for all engineering KPIResponsible for all HSE on site including KPI's• Maintain a regular working dialogue with external contacts to ensure the best outcome for equipment acquisitions by visiting suppliers for machine acceptance trials and improvements required• Ensure robust management of day to day projects in line with overall program deliverables• Provide technical leadership in new and existing production processes ensuring deliverable criteria’s met in HSE, Ergonomics, Mistake Proofing, Quality, Capacity, Cost control and Process Standardisation.• Create capacity plans for all plants and ensure full utilisation of equipment.• Monitor capex spend and create 5 year forward plan of capex requirement.• Introduce innovative technology into plants• Create industrialisation plans to bring on board new plants through out the world• Create global line standards • Carry out lean line design prior to RFQ with multi functional global team to have one common standard

Responsible to the plant manager as part of the senior management team, managing the production department, training department and continuous improvement team. The production facility runs on a 3 shift system with 340 people in total.Main duties include the budgeting and planning for future business currently budgets are in excess of 2 million pounds / year, co-ordinating both short and long-term strategies to ensure the facility achieves its goals along with taking the facility forward to ensure future success.The role is extremely cross functional and diverse and therefore requires a highly flexible approach in all of the following areas.Duties and Responsibilities• In charge of all production staff, ensuring all KPI’s are achieved.• Day to day running of the department• Control all training for all operators, group leaders and lead operators• Ensuring performance of both operators and machines are obtained.• Control all health and safety and environmental issues within the facility this also includes the use of ergonomics.• Control all six sigma, continuous improvement and operations excellence.• Control budgets.• Benchmarking against competition• Cooperate targets to be achieved• In charge of departmental budgets approx £2 million / year

Responsible to the plant manager as part of the senior management team, managing a team of engineers, and programme managers ensuring that all new programs/ platforms, continuous improvement, health and safety and industrial engineering objectives and all facility requirements are achieved.Main duties include the budgeting and planning for future business currently budgets are in excess of 10 million pounds / year, co-ordinating both short and long-term strategies to ensure the facility achieves its goals along with taking the facility forward to ensure future success.Duties and Responsibilities• In charge of the introduction of all new platforms and design changes within the facility, utilising programme managers.• Day to day running of the department• Quoting for new and carry over business• Ensure all customer specifications are achieved and costed• Control all health and safety and environmental issues within the facility this also includes the use of ergonomics.• Control all aspects of the facility including all services.• Control all six sigma, continuous improvement and operations excellence.• Control all VAVE activities within the facility.• Control all capacity planning for current and new business, including the issuing of line TAKT timings.• Control budgets for both new business and the facility.• Responsible to minimise capital expenditure and capital purchases.• Design reviews• Benchmarking against competition• Cooperate targets to be achieved• In charge of new capex budgets approx £10 million / year• In charge of departmental budgets approx £15 million / year
