P&L Management, Business development and strategic development of Advanced Nuclear Technology, New Build, SMR and AMRs, accountable for setting and managing the direction and integration of new portfolio with over 70 staff across projects. Development of government business cases for submission into Comprehensive Spending Reviews for submission to treasury approval processes. Director responsible for delivery across multiple vendors work and portfolio including: UKSMR, delivery of NNL ANT programmes: Horizon newbuild, Terrestrial & Moltex MSR Fuel development, Westinghouse LFR AMR Phase 2, U-Battery HTR AMR Phase 2, AMR Phase 1 projects: Moltex, ARC, Westinghouse, U-Battery, USNC, ARC, GE Hitachi. Advanced Manufacturing & Materials Programmes: EASICS (structural integrity) and FAITH (Fuel assembly thermal hydraulics). Molten Salt reactor UK spent fuel feasibility, ANT Market modelling 2021 and UK Industrial capability for AMR. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) UK representative for SMR and AMRs, representative on FORATOM Steering groups and key presenter at multiple conferences in UK and InternationallySenior engagement with BEIS and DIT. Led strategic planning for UK/Canada on SMR/AMRs, ANT Public Engagement, support to developing a variety of national policy inputs. Chair of Molten Salts Technology Platform supporting development of HMG strategy on Molten Salts technology, MSR deployment and AMR R&D with direct relationships within BEIS, NDA, Welsh government and DITKey involvement in country to country, industrial, academic and research collaboration for SMR and AMR development for the UK and internationally.
