My name is Michael Duax, and I am fourth-year student at the University of Iowa studying Biomedical Engineering with a focus in Bio-ImagingI currently work part-time as a biomedical engineering intern for Atirix Medical Systems. My role is data analytics and image processing to continue development of QC-Track, a medical imaging, quality control software. I specialize in PET/CT and SPECT quality control standards and development.My research interests involve processing medical images and converting them into valuable datasets. This is reflective of my coursework in Medical Imaging Physics and Software-Design. My goals are to complete my Bachelors Degree in Biomedical Engineering and continue on to work in the field.
