I serve as the Salesforce technical lead on an agile team that uses Fidelity systems and Salesforce to develop solutions to simplify and innovate the new plan implementation journey for employers and Fidelity associates to reduce burdens so they can focus on what matters. I design and build solutions that leverage the full capabilities of the Salesforce Platform and coordinate with my squad and other squads to ensure that agile principles and software engineering best practices are followed. I also work with stakeholders of Fidelity's other systems and technical architects to coordinate and integrate the scope of work in a way that leverages the strengths of the respective systems.Highlights:1. Developed web applications and automation tools for internal operations and relationship management use on Fidelity's private cloud using the Ruby on Rails full stack development framework and developed on the Salesforce Platform. Used test-driven development with RSpec and MiniTest. Managed metadata for the product line of internal business applications. Infrastructure automation with Ansible.Two major initiatives:1. Salesforce Fund Actions: Worked on a Salesforce agile team to design and develop a solution for work intake for fund action projects. Used Lightning Aura Components, Apex, declarative development, to build the solution and user interface. Used Salesforce Platform Events and Salesforce REST API customization to integrate with operations systems within Fidelity. Created a custom API endpoint that allowed the consuming systems to retrieve all of the project data they needed with a single request. 2. Service Request Language Analysis Triage: Created a Ruby on Rails intranet web application that used Natural Language Processing (NLP) to triage general service requests to the proper group. The application facilitated interaction between Fidelity's work intake system and the NLP models. Scanned work queues for items, converted the data from the service requests into the format needed by each prediction model, and executed the predictions. Developed configuration and rules that allowed for different item types to be configured individually and associated with different prediction models. Developed configurable blacklisting criteria to exclude potentially sensitive items from triage. Tracked work items through to completion and provided reporting and feedback to the developers of the NLP models so they could continuously improve them.

Provided automated reporting solutions using Microsoft Office and VBA, including automated emails based on schedule or trigger. Designed and developed scheduled SQL queries. Served as process documentation owner for several processes. Automated generation of complex customized letters using Microsoft Access VBA and manipulation of MS Word and Office Open XML model. Served as chair of the Qualification Services Innovation committee and helped launch their innovation program with 250 ideas submitted and 49 ideas implemented in a department of 50 people. Began developing on Fidelity's internal cloud in 2015. Developed a Ruby gem to connect to Fidelity's internal web services and integrate with ActiveRecord. Completed an emerging leader program for my business unit in 2017.
