The Senior Media Relations Officer is responsible for the promotion of Council and its services both internally and externally through effective media channels including print, TV, radio, and social media. The role provides support to the Mayor, Councillors, General Managers, Managers and other relevant stakeholders in relation to their media portfolios, including but not limited to: coordinating media engagements, preparing key messages and talking points, responding to media inquiries, and preparing speeches.
