One of my favorite pastimes is playing board games with friends. I love that there are many different ways to win, and everyone is trying to do so in the least wasteful manner. Games are a great way to connect with people, along with developing different skills. One of my career goals is to continue to expand my lean manufacturing skillset and job opportunities. Now you may be asking, what do these two statements have in common. Well they can have a lot in common. You have games for communication, both verbal and nonverbal. Deduction games to help with body language and off topic thinking. Many games come with win conditions, and getting to that point can involve many ways. Some games are cooperative, the goal is to survive or to win. Just like in life there are different ways to solve each problem. It is best to think things through and to talk with others to get their opinions. Each person has their own skillsets and things they are best at. When you combined skills, it can be easy to win both in games and in life.
