Currently, I am providing unbiased agronomic advice to growers of potato, dry beans, corn, soybeans, alfalfa and other crops in the upper midwest.Using high resolution soils data to delineate and classify yield limiting factors and enable accurate variable rate inputs such as fertilizer, soil amendments, seed and more, I have improved ROI on numerous inputs for my growers. Since 2017, I have worked with consultants across the US to empower their precision ag programs with this same proprietary process of efficiently mapping soil variability at high resolution.I have worked in the field of plant science for nearly two decades; spending seven years in horticulture in the pacific northwest and 13 years in broad-acre crops in central Minnesota. Focusing on sustainable potato production since 2018 has allowed me to reduce nitrogen and irrigation inputs on this crop while achieving greater yields and quality for the processing market.
