Having the opportunity to prove myself as an intellectual in the business world is the main driving force of my young professional career. I am currently a Senior at Miami University and I am studying finance at the Farmer School of business. Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to work with a team of 4 to generate a business model that would potentially grow KeyBank's company. I also took a risk and started a home maintenance company from the ground up with a partner that allowed me to negotiate with clients and get a feel for managing my financial needs as well as the consumers. My goal is to use these plentiful resources to enhance my knowledge of investment management and useful financial strategies in general. Since freshman year of high school, I’ve been working blue-collar jobs and I pride myself on the opportunities they offered for me to experience how hard work really does pay off. While working in construction and home improvement didn’t teach me the intricate skills of investment management like Microsoft Excel or analyzing markets it did, however, teach me discipline and patience. Putting these skills into practice has given me great success in the classroom and in the workplace.I am currently in search of a summer internship program in order to put my newly developed skills to the test and enhance my knowledge of the business world in general!
