Currently Professor of Microbiology & Immunology, Director of the Center for Immunology at the Medical College of Wisconsin and Co-Founder and Vice President of Protein Foundry, LLC. Internationally recognized expert in the biology of inflammation and cancer. He is the Director of the Bobbie Nick Voss Laboratory for Cancer Research at the Medical College of Wisconsin Cancer Center. Dr. Dwinell is also the Unit Director of the Gastrointestinal and Nutritional Pathophysiology course in the medical school curriculum and oversee medical immunology teaching. Research in his National Cancer Institute funded laboratory is studying the mechanisms of how cells move in order to design and test new therapies to halt cancer. Ongoing development of new companies will help translate those research discoveries into new therapeutic interventions.
