Served American Jewish community by representing its needs and interests before members of government at the federal, state, and local levels. Organized and attended meetings with congressmen and congressional staff. Tasked with compiling database of unmanned aerial vehicles used by militaries of U.S., Israel, the United Kingdom, China, Iran, and Hezbollah. Database includes performance specifications, mission roles, and operational history of in-service drones. Corroborated information from multiple sources in order to produce, authoritative, accurate report. Data to be used in future projects by senior FAS fellows.

Was responsible for leading the Policy Desk Department, which focused on longer pieces concerning different approaches to international and domestic politics. Chose writers and edited articles for the department. Served as a staff writer, writing and researching both editorial and factual pieces while meeting strict weekly deadlines. Worked to prepare for international conference sponsored by U.S. Department of State on rapidly developing field of bioforensics. Researched biosecurity, forensic evidence, and the intersection between the two. Personal notes on the conference submitted by FAS to the State Department to serve as takeaways from event.

Served as researcher and editor for FAS fellows. Worked on wide variety of issues concerning international security, with focus on chemical weapons use during the Syrian Civil War and sanctions against Iran. Independently collected data to determine total amount of casualties in Syria due to chemical weapons. Edited work by FAS fellow that was to be submitted to New York Times.

Mentored Baltimore city high school students. Focused on imparting the values of professionalism and responsibility. Created unique curriculum for a program in its first year. Taught classes for SAT and ACT preparation.
