Also coordinated efforts with guidance, police liaison officer(s), school psychologist, and social worker in meeting with students and parents to discuss improving student attendance and behavior. Resolved student behavior concerns in a fair and timely manner and maintained records of disciplinary or referral actions taken.

Review and approve the department budget, review and approve the department promotions, receive and resolve complains concerning the operation of the police department. Final authority to impose and/or review discipline of the police department employees, appoint civilian personnel director and then prepare all annual reports of the department activities for the public, Mayor and City Council.

I developed and led an effective outreach oriented ministry that serviced over 1,700 Elementary, Middle School and High-School students.I specialized in campus outreach and was instrumental in leading community-wide efforts in reaching students through large events and School Assemblies in partnership with multiple evangelistic organizations.I helped research a develop a Small Groups Ministries that help young people understand biblical truths that would help them reach their full potential.I assisted the Sr. Pastor in all aspects of ministry as needed.

Multicultural/Urban Young Life is a ministry serving kids of color and kids from under-resourced communities. Many of these kids often feel misunderstood and neglected and are being raised in environments where hope for the future is sometimes limited. I trained multicultural Young Life leaders identify with the community they serve and adapt ministry work to fit the needs of the kids. I also ran and was the camp speaker for multicultural camp weeks that were a crucial part of this unique Young Life ministry. From small, rural communities to the heart of the inner city, my leaders and I sought to bridge the gap and reach this generation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
