In this role I have delivered goods to hundreds of manufacturing companies, mechanics, distribution centers, small businesses, and large corporations. I gained experience in logistics, inventory management and control, warehouse management, and routing drivers for efficiency. In my time at Fastenal I have been certified as a forklift driver and have assisted with sales, implementing efficiencies in route management, and warehouse pick module organization. Driving and delivering supplies to various customers is my main task and I have covered routes that span the Denver metro area and its surroundings. My compliance to safety regulations at many sites has been exceptional and I have gone through safety training in many industries in order to be allowed onsite.

My position put me in charge of all cashiers and bag attendants in the checkout lanes as well as the service desk. In order to be efficient in this role time management was a high priority. It was my responsibility to keep checkout lines low and customers happy. This meant sending my team on scheduled breaks at regularly scheduled times so that we would always be prepared for high traffic and have people in place where they were needed and when. In my time with King Soopers I was trained to stop money laundering, on HIPPA rules, on schedule management software. I was the primary schedule writer for the front end and due working for a union there was a strict set of rules to follow. I helped train others in schedule writing best practices for a number of different departments and at other stores. During my time I was on the safety team and helped my stores stay in compliance with personal and food safety practices. I was responsible for all store operations before or after the store management began or ended their shifts. I had to know how to do all functions of the front end from running a point of sale system to selling lottery tickets, or cart management to bagging best practices as well as many others.
